Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
I don’t know about you, but this has been one of the those weeks that feels awful and long and stressful and I just want to quit everything and take a road trip to Maine or something, you know? Isn’t Maine supposed to be gorgeous? I’ve never been there, but I’ve always imagined it like the cover of my Sarah, Plain and Tall book portrayed, with huge fields of long grass and flowers blowing in the wind (like this picture, but more boring because there’s a tall, plain lady on the cover and not an adorable kitten named Sarge who is walking toward me and wants to play and snuggle and hang out forever). I think it actually takes place in Kansas or something, but Maine has lobsters and is therefore more desirable to my brain and mouth.
Anyway, my point is that all I can think of right now is figuring out some way to spend the rest of my week on a blanket in this field with Sarge and some lobster rolls and a Double Down from KFC (because why not?), hanging out and catching fireflies and high-fiving and talking about boys. Ohhhh siggghhhhh.
(Thanks for the pic, Jess!)
